England - Peak District to Yorkshire Dales

This is Burnsall Village. It may only be small but because it sits beside the River Wharfe it has had a long history of settlement. The river was used for transport even back to Viking times. The Red Lion dates back to the 1100s. The church and school buildings are also heritage listed.
